Is Navy Diver hard?
Yes Navy Diver training is hard, but nothing like BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) training where you become a Special Warfare Operator or SO. A “training day” is a good 8 hours and includes PT (Physical Training), classroom, and in-water training.
How long is Navy Diver school?
Navy Diver class “A” school is 15 weeks in duration, and it is located in Panama City, Florida. Before attending the class “A” school, a seven week preparatory school will be completed at Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. The Navy Diver rating requires a minimum of a six year enlistment obligation.
What rank do I start in the Navy as a diver?
